The information you provide below will be included in a booklet of abstracts to be emailed to you before the event which will be held from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on November 10, 2022, at Venture Café in Providence.

Rules

You must be 18 years or older to pitch an idea. Presentation time is strictly limited to 90 seconds. Those who do not finish within the allowed time will be cut off. You will not be able to use PowerPoints or props, as you would not have such aids if you met a potential investor in an elevator. Each presenter will then receive up to 90 seconds of feedback from the judges. No more than two people may make a presentation (although it is strongly advised that only one person present). The winners will be announced after all presentations are made.

Judging Criteria

• Problem is clearly defined.
• Why the proposed solution is better than any other currently available solution.
• Financial potential of the idea.
• Ability to execute plan.
• Overall pitch quality.
