Rhode Island Business Competition’s "Business Pitch Deck Development" Workshop is January 18th
PROVIDENCE - (January 11, 2024) - The Rhode Island Business Competition's workshop “Business Pitch Deck Development" will be held on Thursday, January 18th at 5:30 PM at Venture Café in Providence.
Our presenter is Melissa Bowley, the founder of Flourish Care and 2021 winner of the Rhode Island Business Competition. Melissa created this organization to embrace her mission of redefining the journey of pregnancy and parenthood. She has succeeded by producing the only platform empowering families with wellness programs and insurance-reimbursed community care.
Melissa has been working and reworking her business pitch for years and has presented across the country. She is an expert on how to build a pitch that investors and businesses will understand.
This interactive workshop will detail all the different aspects of a business pitch deck, including background and financial information, goals of the business, and a description of how the business will be a success. A business pitch deck is a critical document because it showcases the entrepreneur's passion and desire to launch and grow a viable business. It can be a tricky task to complete a business pitch deck, especially for a startup when several questions still need to be answered, so this is a worthwhile workshop that will provide the resources an entrepreneur needs as well as an understanding of how to create an investor-ready business plan.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from the best and take your pitch deck to the next level! This event is free and open to the public but pre-registration is required - please visit https://venturecafeprovidence.org/sessions/rhode-island-business-competition-pitch-deck-development-workshop/.
